We've Made Some Important Changes
to Help Us Serve You Better!

At Ventre Packing Company, we're constantly striving to improve not only our products, but also our customer service. In the past few months, we've brought aboard two new staff members who will help us serve you better in a variety of ways.

If you have a question about East Coast marketing or sales of Enrico's and Medei Cuisine products, the person to ask is Rick Alesia. Rick joined the Ventre staff in September, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the sales/distribution side of the food industry. As our Eastern Regional Sales Manager, Rick will have daily contact with our network of brokers, distributors and retailers. He'll be able to facilitate discussions and negotiations and tie things together to bring Enrico's and Medei Cuisine products to the store shelf. Rick is enthusiastic about his new position, and feels that, "there are endless growth opportunities for the Enrico's product line. Ventre Packing and Enrico's embody tradition, integrity and a commitment to succeed.

In fact, Ventre Packing prides itself on consistently high product quality. The job of meeting those quality standards now falls on the shoulders of Kurt Alpha. As the Manager of Quality Control, Kurt inspects all raw ingredients as they arrive at the plant and personally oversees the quality control checks that are done on every batch of sauce produced.

But, Kurt wears two hats at Ventre Packing. He is also the Senior Food Technologist, responsible for all new product development. This includes raw ingredient sourcing, formula development, nutritional fact calculation and "scale-up" (which is taking a sauce recipe from a 2 quart pot on the stove to a 1,000 gallon cooking kettle).

Two great additions to Ventre Packing Company, Rick and Kurt have already been making things happen in their new positions. We welcome them and look forward to working together in the years ahead!

Favorite Enrico's or Medei Cuisine Product:
Enrico's Hot Salsa is my favorite. Your first taste tells you that you're in for a treat! I also love the Medei Cuisine Garlic Marinara "Not Justa Pasta" Sauce for its fresh flavor and versatility.

Hobbies:
Boating. Music (I play the drums). Golf (I still keep going back for more). Gourmet Cooking (Italian, of course).

Favorite dish that uses pasta sauce:
Baked lasagna using a light, flavorful sauce like Enrico's Bountiful Basil.

Favorite Enrico's or Medei Cuisine Product:
Enrico's All Natural Homemade Taste Garlic Marinara Pasta Sauce. I love garlic! This sauce is perfect with my homemade meatballs.

What do you do to relax:
Jogging during the week. Cooking on weekends.
